Our Story

Anita and Jim Salituri are the owners and founders of Attune Aging Strategies & Solutions Inc. Their career paths were initially very separate but over time they developed a common interest and a shared passion to have a positive impact on the quality of life of older adults as they age, which resulted in the creation of Attune in 2014.

Anita has devoted her career to working with older adults and they have a very special place in her heart. She has developed her skills as an Occupational Therapist, Clinical Consultant and Educator and has created and delivered training workshops to health care staff across Ontario. Through experience Anita knows that it’s the “little things” that make the biggest difference and she is focused on delivering detail-oriented service wherever she goes.

Jim has refined and expanded his clinical skills as an Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Physiotherapist. He has worked with people throughout the lifespan, from newborns to older adults in their nineties. Jim also enjoys his role as a Clinical Educator in both the business and LTC home sectors. He truly loves his chosen career path as a Physiotherapist, working with people to instruct them about their physical abilities and how best to move. Jim is focused on making positive changes in people's lives through exercise and education.

After over 20 years of clinical experience, Anita and Jim decided to join forces and formed Attune Aging Strategies & Solutions Inc. to service older adults and to share their “tips of the trade” through specially designed products, programs and training sessions. Attune recognizes that getting older isn’t always easy, but they know that there are things that can be done to make life a little easier. Attune also believes that family caregivers and home healthcare providers of personal support services can also benefit from education and skills training to enhance the quality of their interactions with the people they care for. Ultimately, Attune is focused on enhancing quality of care and quality of life for our older loved ones.
